AMD 5 Zach Schmitt

For AMD 5 I watched most of the music videos on "Step into German". They were very enjoyable, but not what I expected.

I thought that there was going to be a german Lady Gaga or Katy Perry, but there didn't seem to be any just one woman pop starts.

My favorite band was die Fantastischen Vier, they have a great sound. Popular is now my favorite song for the moment.

Tokio Hotel confused me. Is the lead singer a male? Or is Bill a girl's name in Germany? I spent the whole video trying to figure this out.

Is it common for German singers to sing in English? Because when reading their bios a few of them were in English singing bands first then moved in german. That struck me as strange. I figured that they would all start out in their native language.

This AMD was awesome because I didn't know how cool german music was before now and will be listening to more in the future.
